- Hi! I'm R. Michael Freed, but most people just call me Mike. I live in Wichita, KS with my wife and our 2 daughters. I was a teacher and Director of Christian Education for over 20 years. I retired from the DCE ministry in 2002 after 16 years as Director of Christian Education at a church in Wichita. I have tried several other things since then, including selling insurance, substitute teaching, being a children's attendant care worker,working as a security officer and a few sideline endeavors on the net, but my bipolar condition has given me a lot of trouble and things have not always worked out as well as I would have liked. Recently I have been feeling better most days, I and I have renewed my interest in writing, theology and all things Internet. For now I've consolidated most of my writing efforts at www.rmichaelfreed.com and fishandbreadenterprises.com.
